to: support@cs.ucdavis.edu Hi CSIF Staff, I'm writing because I am concerned that we still do not have a double sided printer in the labs. A lot of students need to print out long manuals and papers for their ECS classes. Doing so on just one side of a page is a blatant waste of paper. They want a duplex printer down in the basement. Yes, I realize that we can print multiple pages per sheet, but this isn't always an option (text can be very small), and it doesn't resolve the issue of wasting half of the printable pages. I'm embarrassed to admit that, as a CS student, I've actually made the trek over to Kerr Hall, or one of the print stations around campus, just so I could print some document in a double-sided format. It does not make sense to me why the *Computer Science* Instructional Facility has worse equipment than that which is available to all other students on campus. Please let me know who I can contact to get more information about this issue. "Two sides are better than one. Be wise. Use both sides." Paul Ivanov (pivanov@ucdavis.edu)
